The Singapore notes comes in the following denominations:
$2 – Purple
$5 – Green
$10 – Red
$50 – Blue
$100 – Orange
$1000 – Purple
$10000 – Gold
The coins in Singapore dollar is minted in 6 denominations namely 1 cent, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents and 1 dollar.
1-cent coin – Vanda Miss Joacquim (flower)
5-cent coin – Monstera Deliciosa (plant)
20-cent coin – Calliandra surinamensis or the powder puff plant (plant)
50-cent coin – Alamanda cathartica or the yellow alamanda (flower)
$1 coin – Lochnera rosea or the periwinkle (flower)
Money changing services can be found not only at the Singapore Changi Airport but also most shopping centers and hotels around the island. You can also access the automated teller machines (ATMs) located everywhere (even in the most obscure bits) in Singapore, that accept most of the main credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Currencies Available for Exchange:
The Brunei currency is accepted as equal to the Singapore dollar because they have a currency interchangeability agreement. Other than the Singapore Dollar and Brunei currency, the US and Australian Dollars, Yen, Deutsch Mark and British Pound are also accepted in most major shopping centers and big departmental stores.
Banks and hotels can change money and most shopping complexes have a licensed money changer. Visitors are advised not to change money with an unlicensed operator. Most banks open from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm on weekdays and 9.30 am to 11.30 am on Saturdays.

Major credit cards are widely accepted in Singapore. Hotels, retailers, restaurants, travel agents and even a taxi company readily accept international credit cards. ATMs can be found throughout Singapore. The logos of the type of cards accepted are shown beside the machine.
Banks are usually open from 9:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday and 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. during Saturday.
Banks are closed on Sundays.
